Test Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive test strategies and frameworks for our technology products. This role requires a deep understanding of software development, particularly in C++, and a proven track record in the Hi-Tech industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their development experience to enhance the quality and efficiency of our testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective test strategies and methodologies for complex systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
Test Framework Development:
Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable test frameworks.
Ensure the integration of automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline.
Test Execution and Analysis:
Lead the execution of test plans, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Quality Assurance Leadership:
Advocate for quality assurance best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and developers on testing standards and procedures.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Provide regular updates on testing progress, challenges, and results to senior management.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Minimum 3 Years of experience as a Test Architect.
Strong programming experience in C++.
Proficiency in other programming languages such as Python, or similar is a plus.
In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Professional Experience:
Proven experience as a software developer, with a focus on C++ development.
Extensive experience in the HiTech industry, with a deep understanding of its unique challenges and requirements.
Previous experience in a test architect or similar role is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
Experience with cloud-based testing environments and services.
Knowledge of performance testing and security testing practices.
