Lawrence, Kansas Mary Sloan Mozingo 1941 — 2024 Mary Clarice Sloan Mozingo, age 82, of Lawrence, KS, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. The third child of Eldon and Harriet Perry Sloan, Mary was born August 7, 1941, in Topeka, KS. She graduated from The Bishop's School in La Jolla, CA in 1959, attended Smith College in Northampton, MA, and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1963. She married John Charles Mozingo in 1965 and lived in Wichita, KS and later moved to Dallas, TX, where they adopted two children, Samuel Charles and Sarah Catherine. Years after divorcing, Mary returned to Kansas in 1989, first to Topeka, then to Lawrence in 2005. Mary's career included several areas, including... He was born in South Bend, Indiana to Frank and Frances "Fran" Enick. He grew up a couple blocks from Notre Dame and was a lifelong fan, especially of Fighting Irish football. He would ride his bike to the game and somehow talk his way into a free ticket many times. He graduated from John Adams High School and subsequently attended Ball State University. He later moved to Kansas and graduated from the University of Kansas where he discovered his love for the Jayhawks. He worked most recently as a Data Analyst until his retirement in 2019. The cause was complications from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Roberta was born to Robert and Rachel Epp Senner in Newton, Kansas, on April 8, 1948. She grew up in Buhler, Kansas, where she joined her siblings John and Rachel, followed by her brother Stan. Upon graduation from high school, she attended Bethel College in N. Newton, Kansas, like her parents, grandparents, and older siblings before her. In 1970, after earning a degree in Art, Roberta acted upon her dream to go to Europe.
