She was the daughter of the late Olin T. and Winnie Noles Smith. She was a retired nurse, having worked at the HCA Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin and the Dodge County hospital in Eastman. Blackshear Sr. and Mary Blackshear. He received his education in Dooly County schools, and was a graduate of the Fitch Barber College in Atlanta. He was of Blackshear Barber Shop in Pinehurst. He was a member of the Mt.

Moriah Baptist Church and served as chairman of the deacon board, president of the choir, Sunday school superintendent and teacher, president of the senior mission, secretary, and church reporter. He was a member of Royal Arch Free and and Accepted Masons, St. John Chapter of the order of Eastern Star, and Gold Card member of the Franklin Lodge No. 210. 1 He was an Army veteran who served in World War I.

Gladys Bizzell Stewart Gladys Bizzell Stewart, 96, of 2455 Carlton Way died Saturday in a Forsyth nursing home. Born and raised in Macon, she was a member of Vineville United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Lanier High School and Middle Georgia Hospital School of Nursing. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living graduate of the Middle Georgia Hospital School of Nursing. She was the former secretary of the Georgia Federation of Garden Club and was also a member of the Middle Georgia Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association.
