It'd be nice if the cap is $185M, but it may be closer to $180M. I've been studying up on the OL, and if TW's price tag soars out of sight, I'm for letting him walk. I know how good he is, but there are a lot of needs beyond LT. This is a great draft for OL...and there'll be some good vets on the market, as well. Think most Niner fans want to retain Juice, Hyder, K'Wuan & Verrett...that likely won't happen if they sign TW for $18M+. I think there's a team out there with tons of cap space that will make him a ridiculous offer the Niners simply won't be able to match. If so, then they look for one of the best OT's early. Slater, Vera-Tucker could play LT...and I like Tevin Jenkins, too. It may be time the Niners really build their OL via the draft...this is a great one to do just that.

It's possible to sign all 5 of the FAs(Trent, Juice, Hyder, Verrett & K'Waun) to deals I have them pegged at in my offseason outlook, https://49erscap.com/index.php/2021-offseason-plan/, also right now, the 49ers have the 9th most cap room on a $180.5M cap, this is according to OTCs cap space page(https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space/) just hit the effective cap room tab to re-order it.

Right now this is how it looks.

Jags - $85.243M (Don't see Trent going here if he's true to his word about not wanting to go to a rebuilding team)
Jets - $77.057M (Same as the Jags, plus the Jets drafted Bechton last yr)
Pats - $66.52M (The Pats never spend in FA, they've let just about every big name OL go, Brown, Solder, and likely Thuney, who will get OT money as a OG)
Colts - $44.681M (Possible, but does Trent like the idea of Wentz over Jimmy? Plus rumors are they may move Nelson to LT)
Broncos - $43.758M (Already have their T duo signed, Bolles & James)
WFT - $40.29M (No way he goes back to that organization after the way he was treated)
Bengals - $38.916M (Another rebuild, I think they also have a young LT they drafted, Jonah Williams)
Panthers - $29.541M (No way Trent goes here IMO, unless they somehow get Watson, which I don't see a Watson trade happening before the draft)
49ers - $23.509M (We're the favorites IMO, he loves the Shanahan's, and he genuinely looked liked he loved being a 49er in 2020)
Chargers - $23.349M (Yes they have a young QB, stud one, but they also have a ton of FAs they need to retain)
Dolphins - $22.958M (Same as the Panthers, unless they get Watson)
Browns - $20.786M (They just drafted Jedrick Willis in 2020)
Cowboys - $20.254M (They have Tyron Smith & La'el Collins at T, plus most of their cap room will go to Dak)
Ravens - $18.234M (Possible if they really do deal Orlando Brown, he's a guy I'd consider trading for if we lost Trent, but Ravens have FAs to retain)
Cards - $16.828M (Doesn't include Watt's contract, plus they have DJ Humphries signed)
Texans - $16.776M (Nope, they already have 2 Tackles they love, Tunsil & the kid they drafted in 2019 1st rd)
Bucs - $8.023M (Nope, they have Chris Godwin as a UFA)
Titans - $6.447M (Maybe, but they don't have the cap room, they drated the Isaiah Wilson kid, and now want to deal him cause I guess he's a headache)
Giants - $6.064M (Solder is signed)
Raiders - $3.914M (They're more in rebuild mode IMO, they're talking of cutting Trent Brown)
Steelers - $3.617M (Villanueva is unsigned, but they have Bud Dupree & JuJu as UFAs)
Seahawks - $2.595M (No, they have to extend Jamal Adams)
Bills - $1.902M (I think they have their Tackles signed)

The teams over the cap now.

Vikes - $4.009M (He rejected a deal to Minny last April, they have Reiff & O'Neill, they may cut Reiff)
Lions - $6.323M (Doubtful)
Bears - $6.98M (Doubtful)
Packers - $11.426M (Have Backhtiari signed)
Chiefs - $22.834M (Not likely, they never sign big name FAs, I forget their own FAs)
Falcons - $27.481M (Nope, plus they have Jake Matthews, and they drafted a T in 2019)
Rams - $35.066M (Nope, they don't have cap room, they probably won't make any big moves, Stafford was their big move IMO)
Eagles - $43.036M (Nope, way way over the cap)
Saints - $61.998M (No, they have Ramcyzk, plus way over the cap)

So in conclusion, I think he returns to the 49ers. If they offer him between $18M-$22M a yr, with close to $50M fully GTD, $66M+ total GTD, he's a 49er IMO.
