I believe so. Found 2015 Salary Cap chart here,http://www.ninersnation.com/pages/49ers-salary-cap-2015, and space matches what AB has listed above currently at $10.042M.
AB, is this "good" cap room?
I guess what I mean to say does this amount allow us to do some things? Or do we just hold it for aldon, and other players?
For now it's fine, but when the season starts idk. We need at least $7M in case Aldon, and 11 others meet all 16 games, plus $1.07M for the 10 man P-Squad, plus teams like to carry into the season $5M for emergencies just in case. I doubt we extend anyone right now.
Oh and that link is my cap page at NinersNation, I do work for them.

Pretty good. We still have the possibility of picking up a decent vet in the event that there is a surprise cut. I doubt anyone is extended as well. With Aldon Smith, I think the team wants him to get through a full season without incident. They probably want to wait on Vernon Davis and Alex Boone as well. I see the team just sitting on this space.

So it looks like before any extensions we're looking at being almost 40mil under next season. Even more assuming we don't keep brooks and his 8mil cap figure.

Nice so if they do extend a couple they should still have a lot to sign free agents..a lot of great receivers might be available if boldin leaves..also bobby Wagner might be available considering Wilson is looking to be paid a lot..maybe sign a young good cb next yr since wright and cook might be gone..either way we had horrible losses this yr but the cap space is a blessing in disguise..I'm unsure when the niners could spend I like they will be able to..

I hope we find good players with that

I would say signing an great cb would be all that we really need. Maybe a great RT like from the bengals. Although we may have solid CBS we need close to a shutdown one which we haven't had maybe ever. In the playoffs, our secondary usually has a bad play or two which are game changers. With the 40 million, next year we should go after a cb or rt for sure.
Does anyone know who would be available?

These are some good FAs to be, RT and CB wise.
Andre Smith, Bengals
Chris Clark, Broncos
Mitchell Schwartz, Browns
Joseph Barksdale, Chargers
Mike Adams, Steelers
CB wise,
Walter Thurmond, Eagles
Trumaine Johnson, Rams
Jeremy Lane, Seahawks
Prince Amukamara, Giants
Greg Toler, Colts
Brandon Boykin, Eagles
Not really any stud CBs that I see, or RTs next offseason.

Good thing we've drafted at those positions already and then we have 12 picks going into next draft

Schwartz would be one one of those low key baalke type moves. He's not elite but steady and consistent. Plus brings experience in the zone blocking.

I'm glad Aldon is gone, now we have enough cap space to sign Chris Cook again.
